you entered your car turn on the key and nothing happen, no noise and no lights. lets try to diagnose your no starting problem with a few easy steps.

most likely causes.

  1. dead battery

  2. blown fuse

  3. wiring

dead battery.

easiest way to check your battery, is with a digital multimeter. set you dmm at 20 volts dc, and look for around 12.90 volts on your battery. if you don't have a dmm, just turn your headlights on they should be nice and bright

if voltage reads good, the battery is not the problem. if you have really low voltage around 7 volts, something drained your battery. most likely culprits are.

  • lights stayed on

  • doors/ trunk stayed open

  • bad alternator

  • radio stayed on

blown fuse

blow fuse is a typical problem, check all your fuses under the hood and inside the car

` blown fuse

if you found a blown fuse, replacing it may fix the problem, if it blows again inspect the components managed by the fuse, and the wiring related to that particular fuse

wiring

lose or corroded wiring is a problem I find to often in the shop, if you notice your battery cables getting green its time to replace them, moving the gables around can give you intermittent power so you can potentially isolate the bad wiring.

those are some of the typical solutions related to no crank no lights problem, if your problem persist hit the forum section for more in depth diagnosis, and hopefully solution to your problem. happy driving
